Relocates all operations to a New, Larger Facility!
Diversified Graphic Machinery and Iijima North America has
relocated operations to their new facility in Red Bank, NJ.
Michael DeBard, President/MM, stated, “The new building will
allow all sales and service functions to operate from the same
location. The new building quadruples our parts inventory
storage area and more than triples the sales area”. Brisk sales
of Iijima auto-platens, Saroglia presses, Die Co-Ordinator
systems and increased parts sales necessitated the larger space
requirements.

Diversified Graphic Machinery ran demonstrations on the Saroglia
740FX foil stamping/embossing and diecutting press in our main
booth #211 as well as the Die Co-Ordinator DC-1060 digital die
registration system in the tech shop.
The Iijima series high-speed MJ1040-ES was also located in the
tech shop area and took part in a joint production project to
create a plastic carryall bag. The Iijima MJ1040-ES ran foil
stamping on the pre-printed .012 polypropylene plastic sheets at
speeds of up to 5100 sheets per hour. The Iijima MJ1040-ES
utilized its proprietary technology to then die cut and crease
the sheets at speeds of up to 5000 sheets per hour. The project
was a tremendous success! Many thanks to all of the other
companies that were involved in the project.

2007 Calendar – Iijima North America/Diversified Graphic
Machinery
Once again Diversified Graphic Machinery proudly displayed why
the Iijima Series MJ1040ES is undoubtedly the leading
high-speed, most Cost Effective foil stamper/embosser &
diecutter in the industry.
Live demonstrations were run daily on the Iijima during the
recent 4-day Graph Expo show in Chicago.
We are very proud of this calendar as we designed and produced
it from conception to the finished product. The 2-up, pre
printed calendars were foil stamped and embossed on the Iijima
MJ1040ES during the show. The Iijima ran quiet, smooth and
effortlessly, foil stamping at speeds of up to 7600 sheets per
hour!
The Iijima press configuration was setup at the Graph Expo ‘06
show with a first-of-its-kind extended platform that
included an in-line Die Co-Ordinator 1060 die registration
system and Chase Changer.
The Die Co-Ordinator was used to precisely register both the
foil stamping & embossing dies on the honeycomb chase, reducing
standard make ready times by 70-80%! Once each make ready
was completed, the honeycomb was then easily slid onto the
in-line chase changer that was used for easy loading and
unloading of the honeycomb chase into the Iijima press.
The die registration to the printed sheet was spot-on with
absolutely no on-press tweaking necessary.

This Dragon was an example of a combo emboss/Stamp job that was
ran on the the new Iijima 1040 ES.

Michael DeBard and Mr. Iijima are standing on the Iijima 1040ES
Platform at the 2005 JGAS Show in Tokyo, Japan. Due to the
outstanding presence at JGAS Show there has been an overwhelming
amount of focus on the Iijima 1040 ES Series.
Iijima Company Celebrates 65th Anniversary
Iijima Mfg., Co., Ltd. (Koga, Japan) hosted an open house at
its factory in Japan, marking the company’s 65th Anniversary.
The Japanese manufacturer of foil stamping, embossing, die
cutting, thermal die cutting and blanking machinery welcomed
visitors from around the world. Mr. Hajime Iijima, (President)
stated how important this anniversary is to his family and his
company. Diversified Graphic Machinery (Red Bank, NJ) President
Michael Debard stated; “What a great feeling it was for both our
customers and our staff to be a part of iijima’s 65th
anniversary. Our focus since the new millennium is to provide
specialized print finishing machinery. We believe there are
still companies looking to purchase high-end machines that can
give their company a distinct advantage in the print finishing
